How to enable “Enrolment Group Membership” on a catalogue item template?
Answer
Enrolment Group Membership allows admin to define group types. By adding a group type to a catalogue item, the learner will be prompted to select a group value within the group type and then automatically be enrolled into a specific grouping for their course.
To enable Enrolment Group Membership on a catalogue item template, navigate to Settings > Catalogue Item Settings > tick the checkbox on Enrolment Group Membership under Optional Inclusions > Update
Note: This functionality will not be available on the system generated catalogue item templates.

Steps
- Click Hamburger Menu (
) > Settings > Catalogue Item Settings
- Look for Catalogue Item Templates and Add new template
- Complete the required fields, on Optional Inclusions tick the checkbox on Enrolment Group Membership > Update
- Create a catalogue item using the new catalogue template. Click here for the steps on how to create a catalogue item
- Check the new catalogue item and it must have Enrolment Group Membership
